Sackter House Media, formed in 2007, employs media in order to present creative works by or about persons with disabilities.
The Extend the Dream Foundation in Iowa City, Iowa sponsors Sackter House Media.
Sackter House Media presents works that emerge from a community of people who wish to share their experiences and insights.
We select works by and/or about individuals with a disability, who tell of life challenges, speak with their own voice, or share a personal vision.
Our authors may express themselves through realistic stories about their own lives or of another, even fictitious characters in any genre.
